35 and above, solid nodule, multiple nodules, > 8 mm, unknown risk, 3-17 months.
ACR Fleischner Society recommendations (MacMahon, et al. Radiology 2017; 284(1): 228-43) suggest the following:
For patients with low risk of lung cancer, no further follow-up or an optional chest CT at 18-24 months after initial discovery of the nodule if there is high index of suspicion.
For patients with high risk of lung cancer, another chest CT at 18-24 months after initial discovery of the nodule.
