For multiple nodules, use the largest or most suspicious nodule as guide to management.
Both the size of the entire nodule and the size of the solid component of a part solid nodule need to be measured. The size of the nodule or the solid component is measured using the average of long and short axes on the same plane, rounded to the nearest millimeter.
In practice, part-solid nodules can not be defined as such until >= 6 mm. Therefore, part-solid nodules < 6 mm are treated as ground glass nodules. The recommendations are the same as ground glass nodules.
