Probably benign cyst. Reproductive age and early postmenopausal.
SRU Consensus Statement recommendations (Levine, et al. Radiology 2010;256(3):943-954) suggest the following: Initial follow-up pelvic ultrasound in 6-12 weeks. If the cyst does not resolve and follow-up ultrasound or MRI does not confirm endometrioma or dermoid, then surgical evaluation recommended.
