Pancreatic cystic lesion without worrisome features. Patient < 80. Cyst 1.5-2.5 cm. MPD communication. 2.0-2.5 cm. < 10 years.
ACR White Paper recommendations (Megibow, et al. J AM Coll Radiol 2017; 14: 911-923) suggest the following: Follow-up pancreas-protocol CT or MRI with contrast every 6 months for two years, then every year for 2 years, then every 2 years for a minimum of 10 years in total. Alternatively, endoscopic ultrasound/FNA may be performed.
