ACR White Paper recommendations (Gore, et al. J Am Coll Radiol 2017;14:1429-1437) suggest the following:
For patients with low risk of having a malignant hepatic lesion, no need for further follow-up.
For patients with high risk of having a malignant hepatic lesion, follow-up MRI in 3 to 6 months is recommended for further evaluation.
