Note:

Diagnostic benign imaging features:
1. Myelolipoma: presence of macroscopic fat with low CT density (<=-10 HU) or MR signal drop between in-phase and opposed-phase imaging.
2. Cyst or hemorrhage: mass without enhancement, defined as change in pre- and postcontrast imaging of <10 HU.
3. Benign calcified mass such as old hematoma or calcification from prior granulomatous infection.
4. Lipid-rich adenoma: a density of <=10 HU on unenhanced CT or signal loss compared with the spleen between in- and opposed-phase images of a chemical-shift MRI exam.
