If we know the patient is not a surgical candidate, then no need to recommend further follow-up or endoscopic ultrasound/FNA.

For patient 80 years of age or above, if the lesion was discovered before patient turned 80 and the patient has been followed ever since, please continue to apply the follow-up algorithm when the lesion was initially discovered. The “80 years of age or above” algorithm is for lesions discovered after the patient has turned 80.
