Pancreatic cystic lesion without worrisome features. Patient < 80. Cyst 1.5-2.5 cm. MPD communication. 1.5-1.9 cm. < 9 years.

ACR White Paper recommendations (Megibow, et al. J AM Coll Radiol 2017; 14: 911-923) suggest the following: Follow-up pancreas-protocol CT or MRI with contrast every year for the first 5 years, then every 2 years for the next 4 years for a minimum of 9 years in total after initial discovery of the cyst or after the growth of a small lesion to 1.5 cm or larger. Alternatively, endoscopic ultrasound/FNA may be performed for a new lesion or for a lesion that has recently grown to 1.5 cm or larger.
